Can Event Planners Have Tattoos?

Tattoos are a form of culture and expression, and people should not be discriminated against for having them. Unfortunately, people will continue to judge those with tattoos, which can hurt their chances of getting a job. I understand the concern people have about covering their tattoos in the workplace, but I think an employer that doesn't allow employees with tattoos is taking it too far.

I personally don't believe that tattoos should be a problem in the workplace. I wouldn't want to work for someone who was uncomfortable about something as conventional as tattoos. Even for my own wedding, I won't be covering up my tattoos. In fact, I'm wearing a long tea dress so I can show off my tattoos on purpose. My bridal party is also welcome to show theirs - one of my groomsmen even has full sleeves and one of my bridesmaids has a nose ring.

Event planners are known for being excellent planners for others and completely ineffective for themselves. They are often so busy planning events for other people that they forget to take care of themselves. This includes taking care of their own appearance, such as covering up tattoos if necessary.

No matter what your opinion is on tattoos in the workplace, it's important to remember that everyone is different and should be treated with respect. People should not be judged based on their appearance, including any tattoos they may have. Click here to see events planners.
